This is another PSP hack that we are sharing with you which is bassicaly a PSP Mod. This tutorial is on how to modSony PSP 3000. Once you are successfuly with this PSP Hack you would be able to install and run homebrew applications on your PSP Console.
Once you are done with the modding of PSP, you can run your PSP UMD’s straight from your memory card. So, here is the step by step procedure to mod Sony PSP 3000:
INSTALL CHICKHEN ON PSP
First and foremost thing to do to start modding PSP is to install ChickHEN on PSP. To do that you need to make sure that the firmware installed on your PSP is 5.03 or lower. Here is the complete guide to install ChickHEN on PSP.
Once you are done with this installation you can continue with your PSP modding.
INSTALL CFW ENABLER
To start with, you need to have CFW Enabler downloaded on your computer. Here are the download links. You can try any of them and get it downloaded.
Now, extract the files from the .zip file (CFWEnabler350.ZIP) that you have downloaded. Then, copy all the whole extracted folder and paste it to the folder, X:PSPGAME.
Once you are done with this copy and paste step, simply disconnect your PSP from computer and restart the console. Now navigate it to XMB > Game > Memory Stick > CFW Enabler.
Now your PSP will run CFW Enabler, so simply install it and restart your console. Once it is done, you will find that the version of your PSP is 5.00 M33-6 now, which means that your PSP is modded.
That is it! This is how you mod PSP. After the completion of this PSP modding, you can easily run homebrew applications on it.
