WineBottler is a free software, which lets you run Windows programs on Mac OS X. Long back, Wine was compatible with Linux only but WineBottler is back with Mac OS X now.
Once you install WineBottler, you can simply drag and drop the EXE file of a Windows application on the interface of WineBottler. So, this automatically tranforms the application and bundles it with Wine, which allows you to use the file on any Mac OS X without having WineBottler on it.
It does not mean that all the applications can be bundled on Mac OS X, but most of the portable applications do work on this.
