(Download the first icon in the list labelled as Java Platform JDK). And then download the respective Android Software Development Kid (SDK) for the OS you are working on.   • First you need the Source Code Kit for Kindle fire. And this can be downloaded from here
  • After setting up the SDK, navigate to %USERPROFILE% in the Android folder and look for the file named as adb_usb.ini
  • And there, open the file using a notepad and add the below line at the end of the code

  • Now navigate the SDK folder on you computer and look the folder, google-usb_driver. Inside that folder, open the file android_winusb.inf and add the below code to the Google.NTx86 and Google.NTamd64 section

  • While updating the driver, go with method of choosing the file manually. And then choose the file android_winusb.inf that you have edited in the above steps
  • While doing that, you need to make sure that your Kindle Fire is running in USB Debugging mode and also enable the option labelled as Installation of apps from unknown sources
  • Now launch the command prompt and fire the below two commands

adb kill-server

adb devices

  • Now just launch the SuperOneClick root tool and then click on the Root button and that is it.
