Motorola XOOM is one of the best tablet PCs in the market. This Android device offers you with so many features which make it a deadly device to have. Rooting any tablet PC or smartphone is like unleashing it as it would allow you to run hundreds of third party apps on it.

Unroot Motorola XOOM
Before you start off, you need to make sure that you have Android SDK installed on your computer. And at the same time, you also need to have official HRI30 build which could be downloaded from HERE.
Now extract the HRI39 zip file that you have downloaded and move all those files to /platform –tools folder, which could be found in SDK folder.
Now, connect the Motorola XOOM to your computer and while doing so, type adb reboot bootloader. This would reboot into the bootloader.
Keep firing the below commands one by one and make sure that you enter the next one only when the previous one is done with its execution.
Fastboot flash boot bot.img
Fastboot flash system system.img
Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
Fastboot erase cache
Once you are done with all the above commands, simply fire the below command as this would relock / unroot the Motorola XOOM.
Fastboot oem lock
Once the Menu appears, access its options using the Volume buttons. And after the completion of all the steps, simply reboot your Motorola XOOM as this would ensure that you have successfully unrooted the XOOM and factory restored it.
