TIP 1

By Default, the photos that you take using Motorola XOOM are not tagged. So you can turn it ON in order turn on the location tracking in your photos so that they get tagged.

Switch the camera ON and tap on the Wrench icon in the Settings and tap on the Store Location button and tap on ON button.

Having Copy – Paste feature is always a great help. So, if you want to copy any of the text on your XOOM tablet PC, simply press the text for few seconds. Now, this will highlight the text in green with allowing you to drag both sides to choose the text.

Now, you can get that text to a notepad, send it via Bluetooth or email or share it on Facebook just by using the options provided.

TIP 3

Having bigger browsing area is always cool. The default browser offers you with Quick Controls option. Its all fine if you are working on single tab. But as the number of tabs increase, you feel that things get congested.

So, navigate XOOM as Menu (upper right hand corner) > Settings > Labs > check the box next to Quick Controls. This would restart the browser and hide those controls. And if you want to use them simply slide your finger from black border onto the screen.

There is an easy and fast way to view your browsing history. Once you open the browser, tap on the Back button. By Back button, I mean the one at the lower left of your screen. This will list you out the most visited web sites in the past month.

If you want to use the address browser, you need not scroll the whole way up. All you need to do is simply tap on the tab of the browser that you are currently using, this will automatically bring you the address bar.

TIP 6

There might be times when you sit you use a newly installed app and find that it does not fit the screen. In order to fix it, Download Spare Parts from the Android market, and uncheck the option labelled as Compatibility Mode. This would reboot your tablet PC and now, try using that app. Now it would fit the screen.
