do i need 3g service to use this app ? thx
More specifically, I know that only the iPad WiFi + 3G has a GPS chip. My question is, will this (or other) GPS app work if I don’t have 3G service, or leave 3G disabled? It appears that Garmin’s iPad app requires a 3G signal, which imo is a deal-breaker.
I want to be able to use the iPad as a GPS where there is no 3G coverage, and when I have 3G turned off.
Can this also be used for ipod touch?
