ASUS pops its Touch screen e book reader namely ASUS DR 950 featuring text to speech technology, web browser, virtual keyboard, handwriting input, RSS reader and dictionary with real time translation.
ASUS introduced its first color screen OLED display e-book reader namely ASUS DR 750. Seems like ASUS is planning to make a mark as this year seems to be dominated by portable e book readers. Asus DR 950, features text to speech technology based on Svox engine ad supports 26 different languages.
This 9 inch touch screen ASUS e book reader by ASUS has got 1,024 x 768 pixel resolution offering you a perfect view to the books. And with the dimensions of 222 x 161 x 9-mm, ASUS DR 950 is an ultra portable e book reader and weighs just 370 grams.
DR 950 also offers an internal storage space of 4GB and is compatible with SD Cards too. Its connectivity features extends with WiFi, HSPA, and WiMax compatibility. It supports number of formats like PDF, TXT, Audible, MP3, and unprotected ePub.
