Now you need not root your Android to install non-Market apps so that you can capture / take screenshots on Android. You can now do this without rooting your Android device.
Capture / Take Screenshots On Android Without Rooting
Before you start with it, you need to have Android SDK on your computer. So, download it from HERE and install the same on your computer.
Now, switch your Android device to USB debugging mode. If you are not sure how to do it, navigate it as below:
Settings > Applications > Development
and then, check the box besides the USB debugging.
Now, navigate it as below and run the file, ddms.bat:
C: > Program Files > Android > Android SDKTools
Once you run the above mentioned file, it would pop up two windows. One would be a CMD Prompt window, which you need not bother about. And in the other pop up window, check if you can find your device in the list.
Once you find your device there, click on the Device tab on the Main Menu and click on Screen Capture (or you can directly hit Ctrl + S).
This would open another window which would be showing you with your Android device’s screen. Now, you can take / capture screenshot on your Android just by clicking on the button SAVE button.
Just like that you can refresh the window by clicking on the REFRESH button and take another screenshot.
That is it! So, without much of efforts and technical challenge, you can easily take / capture screenshot on your Android without rooting it.
