Setup BlackBerry Bridge To Connect Smartphone
- To start with, you need to open the BlackBerry settings which can done by tapping on Settings option
- Now, on the left side of the menu, look for BlackBerry Bridge and tap on it
- This would kick off the whole process of setting up BlackBerry Bridge which starts with asking you if you have a BlackBerry smartphone. Since you have it, tap on the Setup button
- Now in the provided field, enter the name of your tablet PC and tap on Next button
- And you can start with the installation process by tapping on the Install Now button
- Now you need to have BlackBerry Bridge installed on your Smartphone. For that, launch the App World app on your smartphone
- Then, click on the Menu button on your smartphone and tap on Scan a Barcode option
- Now Playbook would display a barcode which could be read by the smartphone so that we can go ahead and install it on your smartphone
- Once its all done, tap on the Back option on the Playbook and then on Continue button
- And on the smartphone, tap on Add Device button and then on Next button
- Now again scan the barcode displayed on the tablet using the smartphone and wait while the pairing gets complete
NOTE: If the pairing doesn’t get complete, you need to go for the Manual Pairing option and follow the instructions.
