Earlier versions of iPhone never had MMS feature. But the recent models which include iPhone 3G, iPhone 3Gs, iPhone 4 and coming versions do support MMS.

METHOD 1
This is the basic method to send MMS on iPhone which allows you to either select a picture from your album or record it on the go while sending that MMS. Here is the step by step procedure:

On the SpringBoard of your iPhone, tap on the Messages app

Now you can either send a MMS as a new message or continue any chat thread. Doing this is same as you do for normal texting

Now, you would find an icon as Camera at the left side of the entry field. Just tap on it.

This would display you with two options. One is Take Photo or Video, which is to be selected if you want to take a snap or record a video that would be sent, and the other one is Choose Existing, which is to be selected if you want to send any existing photo or video as MMS

Once the selected file is attached, you can enter the text that you want to send and then tap on Send option which would send MMS on iPhone.
METHOD 2
This method is to be followed if you wan to send an existing photo or video as MMS. Here is the step by step guide to send MMS from iPhone:

Tap on the Photos app from the SpringBoard of your iPhone

Now navigate the album and find out the media file that you want to send as MMS and then tap on Share button

Now, select the option labelled as MMS

This will create a new message with your media file attached. Now simply enter the recipient’s phone number, add text (if you want) and then tap on Send button. This is the way to send MMS on iPhone just like a normal message
METHOD 3
Now this is an interesting method to send MMS on iPhone via emails. Interesting, right? Here is the complete guide:

Tap on the Photos app from the SpringBoard of your iPhone

Now navigate the album and find out the media file that you want to send as MMS and then tap on Share button

Now, select the option labelled as Email

Here, instead of entering an email ID, you can send to the carrier while mentioning the recipient’s phone number. Confused? Check the below table:

Now, using this table you can send to the person you want. All you need to do is enter the recipient’s phone number followed by the email prefix for their provider.
For example, xxx@message.alltel.com which implies that xxx is the phone number and the person is on Alltel network.
