Once you have downloaded the required files, copy them to the microSD card of your Motorola smartphone. And then enter into the recover mode (hold Power and Home buttons) using Bootstrap.
Now, make sure you have a backup of your phone memory before you start installing the Android files in the recovery mode.
Simply select the .zip file that you have copied to your SD card, navigate to the teamblackhat folder and then choose the file your downloaded. And now, reboot your Droid and it would be running on Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread.
If you find your Droid rebooting again and again, you need to enter the recovery mode and clean the data. Hold Power and Home button and when you see triangle, use the volume buttons to choose the option Wipe Data / Factory Reset using the Power button. It would reboot your phone and now it should work fine.
