With a 5 inch touchscreen display, Garmin nuvi 1490TV offers features like free traffic updates, pre-loaded European maps, Bluetooth, safety camera warnings and many more. With this portable GPS navigator by Garmin, you can easily locate hospitals, police stations, schools and other public institutions.
nuvi 1490TV also features the Garmin’s very own “Where I Am?” option. It also guides with voice option, and spoken street names. And if you have missed a turn, then its automatic re-routing helps you correct your path.
Garmin nuvi 1490TV features DVB-T mobile TV receiver, which makes it special and powerful than other portable GPS navigation systems. This lets nuvi 1490TV to receive the digital radio and TV services of all our Europe which include about 14 countries.
But because of the safety precautions, Garmin made sure that its TV works only when the vehicle is not in motion. That is highly innovative. It will be available in the markets from early April and might have a price tag of around US$420.
