All these years, Kindle was primarily meant for eBooks. With more and more releases, it grew as a healthy and huge family of eBook readers. To be honest, Amazon never looked to compete in the tablet market against the likes of iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab.
But now, Amazon has released its new versions, which are meant to be tablet PCs. I am not sure what prompted Amazon to bring in these tablet PCs, but on paper, these devices look rock solid.
In this post, I would be comparing Kindle Fire HD 8.9″ with the other most powerful tablet PCs in the market. Hence, the post has been titled as Fire HD 8.9″ vs Apple iPad 3 HD vs Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.
What makes this comparison so special, is that each tablet PC wins over the other in one or the other category. If you are looking for high end tablet PCs, then you have got more options now.

The killer feature of the Kindle Fire HD will be Amazon itself. The reason why the iPad range has been so popular is that Apple made it easy to get content – apps, music, videos. Now Amazon are bringing their weight to bear and will offer an equally impressive range of content. Integration of Amazon content into the user interface combined with one-click shopping will make it just as easy to use as the iPad. Apple should be afraid.
