When you think of buying hardware for gaming computers, you think of things like gaming mouse, gaming keyboard, heavy RAM, graphics card but not gaming monitor. In my opinion, gaming monitor is an integral part of a gaming computer setup.
There are number of factors which would help you take a decision on buying a good gaming monitor such as refresh rate, frequency, size, contrast ratio and few more. We have taken all these parameters into our calculations and have also considered the user feedback and have come with a compilation of best gaming monitors 2013.

Can I ask why your picture is of the Benq XL2420T but it isn’t actually included in your list?
Also you have put the panel type on 1 of them but not on the others, it would be useful to see whether they’re all TN or whether some are IPS. The same with the refresh rate.. You’ve listed 1 refresh rate but none of the others.
A brief paragraph of their performance would be nice as well. And also their connections, do they have displayports? Is it DVI? Do they have any HDMI slots?
Lots of critical info missing here…
Good catch Sam, the picture shows a BenQ XL24020T indeed and I would definitely include it as one of the top gaming monitors thanks to its insane response time (2 ms), refresh rate of 120 Hz and the fact that it has all the connectivity options you can ever ask for (3 USB, 2 HDMI etc).
The only thing lacking with the BenQ monitor would be its TN panel though. If it could somehow be upgraded into an IPS with the later models, that would be perfect.
