Panasonic Raboo eBook Reader – Prics, Specs, Availability


If you were thinking that eBook readers are out of demand, then here is a sweet surprise for you as Panasonic brings one into the market. Unlike all the other eBook readers, Panasonic Raboo would be running on Android which surely makes it a powerful device to have.

Panasonic has made official announcement on this eBook Raboo reader and revealed its details which include its specs, price and availability. Raboo would be running on Android 2.2 which makes it one of a king.

With a 7 inch LCD screen of 1024 x 600 resolution. This Panasonic eBook reader would come with 16 apps installed in it. And you are wondering why the name, Raboo? Then here is some info. Panasonic did this deal with Rakuten Books and will be offering around 10,000 eBooks on their catalog and it supports XMDF format which is their own text format and so comes the name Raboo.

With an internal storage of 8 GB, this eBook reader is a great a device that the fact that it could handle XMDF files makes it a pretty tough deal. Although you would all the books in this format, when you restrict a device from running any other formats surely could backfire.

Its microSD slots does let you expand you memory beyond its internal storage. And it features WiFi and Bluetooth as connectivity options. And its 1.3MP web cam would surely stun you because you do not expect a camera in an eBook reader. With a good battery life, Raboo would be hitting the market by August 10 with a market price of $445.
