Must Know Nexus 4 Tips, Tricks And Features – Part 2

Spice Up The Lockscreen

This is one of the most interesting features of Jelly Bean, and surely its a must needed one. For an instance, your screen is password locked, you wish to launch something in hurry. Its a pain, right? With this new feature, you can simply swipe the screen to check out Lockscreen widgets. It saves a lot of your time and efforts.

Instant Googling

With Nexus 4, you can easily start you Google search. All you need to do is hold the white rim like figure at the bottom of the screen, drag it and drop it on the Google logo that would pop up. And all this would take 5 seconds. That is quick, isn’t it?

Face Locking

I am not sure how useful this feature is, as it has quite a number of disadvantages. Nevertheless, its a pretty cool feature and if you still insist to learn about then you need to navigate as, Settings > Security > Screen Lock > Face Unlock > Set it up > Continue. And while its scanning your photo, make sure that you have normal expressions on your face.

Daydream

Here is a feature which has to do with the looks and the so called X factor. Its like the screensaver that you have on your computer. You can use the clock, soothing colors, photos or a mini game as the screensaver. A cool feature to try out!

Speech To Text

We have seen huge number of speech to text apps, but the one which comes with Android Jelly Bean is pretty accurate. All you need to do is tap on the Microphone icon on the bottom of the Android keyboard and that is it. You would be stunned to check out its accuracy and speed at which it works.

We would come back with more features, tip and tricks for Nexus 4.
