LINUTOP 3 : Mini PC for Linux Users


Linutop 3 is a mini desktop computer designed by a France based company, Linutop SARL. Linutop 3 runs on Linux OS. All the latest mini computers are powered by Intel Atom processor but Linutop 3 runs on VIA C7 Processor at an impressive speed of 1-Ghz. This whole setup measures about 9x9x2 inches and is incredibly light in weight (about 1.8 kilograms).

Linutop 3 is supported by 1GB RAM and can be extended to 2 GB RAM.And Linutop 3 uses 2 GB of Flash Memory as its internal memory. It has got 6 USB ports, with a serial interface and input & output terminals of audio panel. Power consumed by Linutop 3 is as smaller as its size. It consumes maximum 20 Watts power which will not be an extra burden on you pocket.

This wonderful machine uses customized version of Xubuntu OS. Its Xfce desktop environment provides you with number of utilities and tools which are pre-installed, like Pidgin, Firefox, VLC media player, OpenOffice and few more.
