How To Update Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 To Honeycomb 3.2 Firmware

  • First you need to download, Honeycomb 3.2 Firmware and Odin Tool which would let you work on your computer in order to upgrade your Galaxy tab
  • Now unzip all the downloaded files, and run the file named as Odin3_v1.0, which would actually run the Odin tool
  • Its time to put your Galaxy tab in download mode. If you are not sure about the way to do it, then just hold the Volume Down button and turn the device ON
  • Once we have the tablet PC in download mode, we are good to connect it to the computer
  • Now once the Odin tool recognizes the device, its field named as ID : COM would turn yellow, which actually indicates that drivers for the device have been successfully installed by the Odin tool
  • Click on the PDA button, and then enter P6200DDKL2_P6200ODDKL1_P6200DDKK5_HOME.tar.md5 in the provided field which would actually search this file
  • Once you find the file, click on the Start button as this start the rooting process
  • As soon as this whole processing is done, Odin tool would automatically reboot your tablet PC. If it doesn’t, just go ahead and restart it manually
