How To Sync Firefox On Android


Firefox 4 is creating incredible buzz in the cyber world. Firefox 4 offers some of the best and unique features that most of the Internet browsers do not have at the disposal. You can sync Firefox on Android, which is one the newest feature it offers. While you sync Firefox, it syncs history, bookmarks, tabs, passwords, and form-fill data.

Sync Firefox On Android

Firstly you need to download Firefox 4 on your computer. And once you install it on your computer, you can start with it.

Now, create a sync account that can be created by navigating the top menu. And in the process, it would ask you to enter your email ID and password for your Sync account.

Once you are dine with creating your own Sync account, you need to choose the option, Firefox Sync Server. Now, you would be given with Sync Key Firefox, make sure that you save it or write it down somewhere.

You would need this key to encrypt the decrypted data. Now, launch Firefox 4 on your Android and navigate it as below:

Swipe to Tools » Preferences and tap on Setup Sync

Now under the Sync option, you need to mark Yes at the Enable Sync option. This will show you the Sync code (which can be used only once). Now, navigate the Firefox 4 on your computer as below:

Firefox » Preferences » Sync » add device

You can choose to sync content like bookmarks, passwords, preferences, history, and tabs from the Sync Preferences. Now, enter the sane code and tap on the Connect button. This will start with the sync process.
