How To Root Samsung Galaxy S III


If you are switching from any other Android to Galaxy S III, then you would surely want to root your device. And if you have already used a rooted device previously, then I do not see a reason why you would not want to root Galaxy S 3.

Before you start with it, there are two things that you need to download.

Lets start with the actual steps to root your super Android smartphone.

  1. Unzip the downloaded files above and install ODIN tool on your computer
  2. Now connect Samsung Galaxy S III to your computer and run ODIN tool
  3. Click on PDA and browse to the extracted .tar file of CF Root package
  4. Now you need to switch your Galaxy S 3 to download mode. For that, hold Volume Down, Home and Power buttons together
  5. Once it is in download mode, reconnect it to the computer
  6. Now all you need to do is click on Start button and that is it

Within few minutes, you will have rooted Galaxy S III in your hand with CWM Recovery installed on it. Isn’t is simple? Give it a try!
